Personality:
We could say Personality as
the Unique and Distinct Mental State of an Individual; that means Personality
defines the behavioral pattern of an Individual. An exact definition to Personality
can be stated as “the characteristic pattern of an individual based upon his/her
thoughts, feelings and behaviors relating to the different situations of being”.
The prime point we could underline here is; Personality arises from within the Individual
and almost it remains consistent throughout his/her life.
Importance
of Personality:
In Today’s real world we
all know that a Good Personality is the key to success in each sort of our
Life. A Good and Strong Personality enables oneself to be a good individual to
have wonderful social and family life/relations. Personality also has vital
role in the success of everyone’s professional life; and that to mix the managerial
and leadership skills well in handling a Team/Teams or being with a Team. So we
could say the key to success itself is about having a Strong Personality.
Apart from all these Good/Strong
Personality enable one to establish self control and self direction to discover
the truth and values of life. Good Personality also generate trait to think and
visualize things in front to sense the pros and cons of each action. A good
personality can direct an Individual to enlighten his thoughts, control his
emotions and regulate his attitude for the betterment of the society.

Biological
Factors: Here in the Biological factors there include different
points like the Genetic Nature, Brain Power and the Physique of Body. Genetic
Nature corresponds to what we have inherited at the time of Birth; while Brain Power
relates to the Intelligence Quotient & Emotional Quotient (IQ & EQ) of
the Individual. And for some Individuals on certain situations the physique of
the Body designs the Personality trait for them (Ex: Handicapped).
Social
Factors: In the Social Factors Family Atmosphere and Societal Interference
are the key in shaping the Personality of an Individual. An Individual’s
Childhood is purely revolves around with his/her Family and the Home
Environment; which is why it is critical in shaping each one’s Personality.
When the Individual is in the Teenage and at the start of Adulthood stage the influence
is mainly from the Society and thus the role of Society is key in shaping the
Personality.
Situational
Factors: These correspond to the factors that are being gathered
through Learning, Experiences and Behaviors during each one’s life. Here the Positive
Experiences and Negative Experiences of life can deliberately shape each one’s
Personality Trait.

can understand that these all factors do not exist in isolation; instead they
all constantly interact to produce complex combinations for each individual and
thus to produce a Unique Personality to each Individual.
